Happy Christmas to everyone!  We hope you have had a good and peaceful year
and that 2018 will be too!

No transatlantic trips this year, just a chilled-out holiday in one of our favourite parts of Greece, Kardamyli on the Pelopponese.

So a quiet year for us, but Jon ran in the London Marathon (3 hours 22 minutes) and in September a 50plus mile run around the Ladybower Reservoir in Derbyshire, quite an achievement!  Charlie is enjoying life in the RAF, avionics at RAF Odiham.  The Doom Bar deck chair is outside our favourite restaurant in Bude, Rosie's Kitchen.  We all had holidays at the Thatchings in Stratton, Ju, Steve Rosie and 2 dogs for Ju's birthday in January, Jon & Bex and Katie went down at Easter and then in August, and we had a week in September.

Jon & Bex also holidayed in Cyprus (Katie in the co-pilots seat)

Rosie's dream came true in July when she was a flower girl at the wedding of Ju's colleague at college.

We took Rosie to the Oxford Story Museum, to Snowshill and Batsford Falconry in the Summer Holidays.

She also went canoeing on the Thames with Steve and Fred, the dog, while camping at Northmoor.
She is now jumping her pony!

Another milestone passed, a 75th birthday card for Grandad, a drawing of a steam train of course!
Its great to be so involved with the grandchildren, they fill life with happiness and joy.

We hope you have a rewarding as well as a peaceful New Year with good health and happiness.

Love and Best Wishes

MARY & PHILIP
