BRIZE NORTON PRIMARY SCHOOL

Community Response

Here is a list of some of the things we found:

The local churches held special services and made collections.
For example, our local church in Brize Norton, St Britius, collected monies for Merlin and Unicef.  More information can be found here.
There was a street collection in the centre of Carterton, the nearby town which raised over £2,000 in one morning.
A number of shops and offices collected monies from is customers.  We contacted them to get some idea of how much money was raised.  Here is a list of local shops with the amounts they raised for Tsunami Relief.
We were aware of a lot of activity from RAF Brize Norton.

Most important, from our point of view, we followed the work of Leilan Smith a health visitor based at RAF Brize Norton.
